From the first seconds the image is amazing, is it really possible to depict a water storm so truthfully and so naturally? It's so amazing it takes your breath away. The palette of dark gray colors, which conveys all the horror of the storm, makes you think about what happened and sympathize with the fleeing people depicted in this work. The artist imagined a ship on which the sailors still hope for salvation and fight for their lives, but the ship is suffering mercilessly. is from the storm, maybe there is no more chance of salvation. Some of the people try to find salvation by lowering the sails and not thinking that the small boat is just a fury in the raging water element. The suffering and destruction of the poor sailors only heightens the excitement and understanding that man is not able to withstand the raging water that is ready to carry any ship. the floor, and even more so to a person, who is not an obstacle to agitated water. This is what Ivan Konstantinovich wanted to convey in his painting.
